Polling stations will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. throughout Feb 3. <\/p>\n<p>All registered voters in Fairfax County are eligible to vote and can do so at their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fairfaxcounty.gov\/eb\/precincts.htm\" target=\"_blank\">regular polling places<\/a>. You can find out where to vote using the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fairfaxcounty.gov\/offsite\/?pg=https:\/\/www.voterinfo.sbe.virginia.gov\/PublicSite\/Public\/FT2\/PublicPollingPlace.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Where do I Vote site<\/a> provided by Fairfax County. <\/p>\n<p>The candidates on the ballot are:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sharonbulova.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sharon S. Bulova<\/a>     <br \/>Democrat<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.patherrity.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Patrick Herrity<\/a>     <br \/>Republican <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.careycampbell.us\/\" target=\"_blank\">Carey C. Campbell<\/a>     <br \/>Independent Green <\/p>\n<p>Christopher F. DeCarlo    <br \/>Independent <\/p>\n<p>Among the major issues is the county budget, the education system, transportation\u2014including an expansion of the train system\u2014and the environment. <\/p>\n<p>Over 1 million residents will be affected by the election, though officials are predicting a low turnout to the event.
